Our mission is to turn your idea into reality

Following you will find some example of products and services that LGL has provided. The original idea of instruments normally comes from customer.

An Optics Laboratory Module on Measurements of aberration by Hartmann wavefront sensor

The Hartmann sensor can be used for easements of inhomogeneity of a transparent media, refractive index and dispersion of a plane parallel plat, wavefront sensing and a tool for measuring the amount of divergence or convergence of beam for collimationy verification. This instrument isalso intended to be used with bachelor and Master students, to learn the source of aberrations in laboratory. Students will do quantitative and qualitativ e experiments related to the most relevant aberrations of a single and doublet lenses.

Exp1

First-order chromatic aberrations (namely longitudinal chromatic aberration)

Exp2

Third-order monochromatic aberrations (namely spherical, coma and astigmatism aberrations)

Exp3

The dispersion of a plan parallel plate and its aberration in path of a diverging light beam.

This product is presented under licence of PartoAfzar Sanat co. and LGL act as a representative.

In-Line Digital Holography Microscopy instrument

It is a custom made instrument that was ordered by Prof. Dan-E Nilsson, Department of Biology, Lund University This instrument is used to find the (x,y,z) or 3D position of small sea animals in a cell of 15*15*15 cubic millimetre in volume. The resolution of the instrument is about 20 micron in x and y axes and 100 micron in z axis. The software and hardware is designed to find the trace of a single animals in about 20 fps speed in 3D. The Laser operates at NIR to do not disturb the animals. The ami of the instrument is to study the vision of small sea animals. Therefore an illuminating system with RGB LED is constructed to shine the cell from top.

Experimental verification of optical design of a medical instrument

Ebbe Finding, Project manager, Atonomics A/S, Denmark. Atonomics had designed a medical instrument for blood testing and LGL has done some experiments to verify the optical design. The essential part of the experiment was deal with the measurements of the near field optical intensity profile. A commercial profilometer has been modified to be able to measure near field intensity.
